Cupcakes and Ice Cream Ride Against Diabetes

How, might you ask, can cupcakes and ice cream help diabetes? Well, they can when proceeds from Bountiful Bread’s Cupcakes that Care campaign and Cold Stone Creamery’s Celebrity Scoops support The Guilderland Wildcats riding in the TourdeCure to benefit The American Diabetes Association

Continuing the 2008 Cupcakes that Care campaign from April 4-18, 2008, Bountiful Bread will donate $1. from the sale of each individual cupcake sold to a local team riding in the TourdeCure in June.

Fresh baked cupcakes; chocolate, yellow, carrot & red velvet cake filled and beautifully decorated with luscious frosting are a delicious treat!! Stop into Bountiful Bread for lunch and don’t leave without a cupcake. Call 438-3540 to place an advance order.

Cold Stone Creamery joins the fundraising effort during April hosting two celebrity scoops to support these riders and their effort. Come into Cold Stone at Stuyvesant Plaza on April 21 & April 30 from 6 PM- 10 PM. Your purchase will make a donation to the TourdeCure.

Diners at The Butcher Block & Mangia, can support theTourdeCure by purchasing a pinup for $1.

“We understand cupcakes and ice cream are a treat and not everyone can indulge, “commented Mark A Burgasser, VP of Operations for White Management, who owns and operates Bountiful Bread, Mangia, Butcher Block & Cold Stone Creamery. “However, showing our support to the American Diabetes Association is important. When one person enjoys a treat, another can benefit.”

White Management has a year long campaign in place to benefit the non profit organizations in the Capital Region.
